How to scan your cube
- Open the camera. Allow camera access in your browser. Use even lighting and keep all nine stickers inside the guide.
- Match the orientation. Start with the white center toward the camera and the blue center on top. The small cube shows how to hold each following face.
- Capture and check. Compare the photo and detected grid. Tap any incorrect color to replace it before selecting Confirm face. The center is fixed.
- Rotate the whole cube. Follow the next face guide without turning individual layers. Confirming a face immediately prepares the next capture.
- Review and solve. Check the completed cube net, then continue to the 3D solver. Pause or step through the moves at your own pace.
Which face comes next?
The default scan order is U → D → F → L → R → B. Use the center colors rather than the surrounding scrambled stickers to identify a face.

Can I use a photo or correct colors manually?
Yes. Open the scanner and select Upload photo to choose one face image at a time. Keep the same orientation shown by the guide. You can correct colors during capture review or later in the cube net. Photo selection still processes the image locally; it does not upload it to our server.
Why are some colors detected incorrectly?
Glare, shadows and colored room lighting can make yellow look white or orange look red. Use diffuse light, avoid reflections, and fill the guide with the face. Detection is an estimate: review every capture rather than assuming it is correct.
What if the camera does not open?
Live capture needs HTTPS, browser camera permission and an available camera. Check the site’s camera permission, close another app using the camera, and try Open camera again. A modern browser with WebGL is needed for the 3D view. Photo input is available if live video cannot be used.
Does this solve any cube in the fewest moves?
This tool supports standard six-color 3×3 cubes. It uses computer search to generate a solution; it does not guarantee the shortest one. It does not support 2×2, 4×4, picture cubes or arbitrary color schemes.
